Overview

The first-ever BristleCon conference was hosted at Sofar Ocean’s headquarters in San Francisco, California, November 9-10, 2023. 

The two-day conference featured ocean innovations, speakers, demos, networking opportunities, and hands-on training with Bristlemouth, the first open standard for ocean connectivity.

Tim Janssen, CEO of Sofar Ocean, announced the Bristlemouth Accelerator Program alongside James Lindsay of Builders Vision, of which both companies are valuable strategic partners to Bristlemouth. The accelerator is an extension of the Pioneer program, which aims to catalyze the commercial development of Bristlemouth-based solutions with access to mentors, developer workshops, hackathons, and an opportunity to receive funding and prize money.
